Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using Gaim.zone. These Terms govern your access to and use of our website (https://www.gaim.zone), mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Platform") for sports league management, player registration, and live auctions.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Gaim.zone Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.
These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including League Owners, Franchise Owners, Players, and Viewers.
2. Eligibility and Account Registration
Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Platform
- By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this requirement
- Some leagues may have additional age requirements set by the League Owner
Account Registration
- You must register using a valid mobile phone number and verify it via OTP
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep it updated
- You may not create more than one account per mobile number
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
3. Permitted and Prohibited Use
Permitted Use
- Create and manage leagues, franchises, and player profiles
- Browse and join public leagues in your region
- Participate in live auctions as a bidder, owner, or viewer
- Communicate with other users through the Platform's built-in Contact Us feature
Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Impersonate any person or entity or provide false information
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or other users' accounts
- Upload or share false, misleading, or fraudulent documents or images
- Engage in collusion or manipulation during auctions
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Platform
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Platform
4. League Owner Responsibilities
If you create a league, you take on the role of League Owner and agree to the following responsibilities:
- Ensure your league is managed fairly and transparently
- Accurately configure league settings including player requirements, franchise settings, and auction parameters
- Review and process join requests from players and franchises in a timely and fair manner
- Conduct the auction in a fair manner without bias toward specific franchises
- Communicate schedule changes or disruptions to participants promptly
- Comply with all applicable local laws regarding sports event management
League Content
You are solely responsible for all content you upload for your league, including banners, logos, rules, and descriptions. You warrant that you have the rights to use all such content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.
5. Franchise Owner Responsibilities
If you create or manage a franchise, you agree to:
- Provide accurate franchise details including name, description, and logo
- Participate in auctions in good faith and honour all winning bids
- Not collude with other franchises to manipulate auction outcomes
- Respect the league rules set by the League Owner
- Be available (online) during scheduled auction times
- By joining or creating a franchise in a league, you consent to your mobile phone number being shared with the League Owner for coordination purposes
6. Player Responsibilities
As a player, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information in your Player Profile
- Upload genuine identity and address proof documents when required by a league
- Publish your profile only when all information is accurate and complete
- Notify the league organizer if any required information changes after joining
- Respect the rules and requirements set by each league you participate in
- By joining a league as a player, you consent to your mobile phone number being shared with the League Owner and franchise owners of that league for coordination purposes
Profile Accuracy
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your player profile. Providing false information — including falsified documents — may result in immediate removal from leagues and termination of your account.
7. Auction Rules and Conduct
General Rules
- Auction parameters (budget, base bid, bid denominations, player limits) are set by the League Owner and are binding for all participants
- All bids are final once confirmed — you cannot retract a bid
- The highest bidder when the timer expires wins the player
- Franchise owners must remain within their assigned point budget at all times
Owner Controls
- The League Owner may pause, resume, or stop the auction at any time
- If an auction is stopped during an active bid, that bid completes before stopping
- Unsold players may be reintroduced into the auction at the League Owner's discretion
Practice Auctions
Practice auctions use simulated data and do not affect any real league outcomes. They are provided for training purposes only.
8. User Content
You retain ownership of content you upload to the Platform (profile photos, league banners, documents). By uploading content, you grant Gaim.zone a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and process that content as necessary to operate the Platform.
Content Standards
You agree not to upload content that:
- Is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or offensive
- Infringes any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right
- Contains personal data of others without their consent
- Is false, misleading, or intended to deceive
Gaim.zone reserves the right to remove any content that violates these standards without prior notice.
9. Intellectual Property
The Gaim.zone Platform, including its design, logos, code, and all content created by us, is owned by Gaim.zone and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Platform or its content without our express written permission.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
No Warranty
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gaim.zone shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Platform. This includes, but is not limited to, disputes between League Owners, Franchise Owners, and Players, including any financial transactions, non-payment, or refund disputes between users.
Third-Party Disputes
Gaim.zone is a platform and is not a party to any agreement or dispute between League Owners, Franchise Owners, and Players. Any such disputes are solely between the parties involved.
11. Payments and Financial Transactions
League Owners may require Players and Franchise Owners to pay a registration fee or other amounts to participate in their league. The Platform provides "Additional Information" fields (configured by the League Owner) which may be used to collect supporting details such as payment screenshots or transaction references. This is a record-keeping feature only — Gaim.zone is not involved in the payment itself.
- Gaim.zone does not collect, hold, process, transmit, or facilitate any payments between users. All payments are made directly between the parties through external channels of their own choosing
- Any registration fees, entry fees, franchise fees, prize money, refunds, or other financial arrangements are entirely between the League Owner, Franchise Owners, and Players and occur outside the Platform
- It is the Player's and Franchise Owner's sole responsibility to verify the credibility and trustworthiness of a League Owner before making any payment. Gaim.zone does not vet, endorse, or guarantee any League Owner, and we strongly recommend you exercise due diligence before transferring any money
- The amounts shown in the Platform (such as auction bids, base bids, and franchise budgets) are virtual points used for league management only. They do not represent real currency or any payment obligation by Gaim.zone
- Gaim.zone is not a party to any financial transaction between users and bears no liability for non-payment, late payment, payment disputes, refund claims, fraud, or any loss arising from a payment made to or by another user
- All payment-related disputes must be resolved directly between the parties involved. Gaim.zone has no obligation to mediate, refund, recover funds, or reverse any transaction
- Users are solely responsible for complying with applicable tax and other legal obligations in their jurisdiction relating to such payments
12. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the app (Profile → Delete Account). Account deletion is subject to a review period of up to 30 days.
Gaim.zone reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or otherwise misuse the Platform.
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
