Gaim.zone recognizes the importance of protecting your privacy. We value your trust and are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of the personal information you share with us. This Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our platform or visit https://www.gaim.zone/, and any related services or offline interactions. By using our website or mobile application, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Account Information: Mobile phone number (used for authentication via OTP), full name, date of birth, and gender.

Location Information: Country, state, district, city, and postal code; your timezone preference; and venue coordinates (latitude/longitude) when you create league venues.

Player Profile Information: Profile photo and thumbnail; nickname, biography, and YouTube video links; physical attributes (height, weight, dominant hand and foot); sport profiles (sport, variant, primary and secondary roles); jersey details (number, size, and sleeve preference); and identity proof and address proof documents (images).

League and Franchise Information: League names, seasons, sports, dates, and venue details; league banners and logos; franchise names, descriptions, and logos; and player and franchise join requests.

Usage and Device Information: Device push notification token (used for sending you notifications), app crash reports and diagnostic data, and in-app activity related to leagues, auctions, and requests.

Note on Payments: Auctions and all in-app activities are conducted using a points system. Points hold no real-world monetary value. Gaim.zone does not collect or store credit/debit card numbers, billing addresses, or any other payment instrument data.

Directly From You: When you register, verify your phone number via OTP, build your player profile, create or join a league, participate in an auction, upload documents, or contact us through the in-app Contact Us screen.

Automatically: Through Firebase Crashlytics for crash reports and diagnostic data, and Firebase Analytics for aggregated usage patterns. We do not use cookies, web beacons, or browser-based tracking pixels in the mobile app.

We use your personal information to:

• Provide and personalize our services
• Register you for leagues, events, or auctions
• Process service transactions and send receipts
• Communicate with you regarding account activity, purchases, and support
• Send you updates, promotions, or newsletters
• Improve the functionality and user experience of Gaim.zone
• Facilitate direct communication between players, franchise owners, and league owners within the platform
• Detect and prevent fraud or security threats
• Comply with legal obligations

Important Note: All auctions and activities on Gaim.zone are conducted solely using points within the platform. These points are a part of the in-app system and are not redeemable for cash or real-world currency.

We may share your information with:

• Service Providers (Subprocessors): Firebase by Google for push notifications, crash reporting (Crashlytics), and app performance monitoring; Google Maps Platform for venue search and location autocomplete; Google reCAPTCHA for bot prevention on forms such as Contact Us; and cloud storage providers for the secure storage of uploaded images and documents.
• Platform Participants: Your mobile number is shared with the League Owner and the franchise owners of a league when you join that league as a player, and with the League Owner when you join or create a franchise in their league. This is to facilitate direct coordination between organisers and participants.
• Legal Authorities: When required to comply with laws, regulations, court orders, or governmental requests, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Gaim.zone, our users, or the public.
• Successors or Affiliates: If Gaim.zone is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred.
• With Consent: In any case where your data is shared for reasons not covered above, we will notify you and request your consent.

We Do Not: sell your personal data to third parties, share your information with advertisers, or disclose your identity proof or address proof documents to other users.

Gaim.zone may contain links to external websites or platforms. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites. We encourage you to read their respective privacy policies before engaging with them. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party websites.

Account Retention: We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services and comply with legal requirements.

Account Deletion: You may request account deletion at any time through the app (Profile → Delete Account). Deletion requests are reviewed and processed within 30 days. Deletion will not be approved if there are ongoing leagues or pending activities associated with your account. Once deleted, your data is permanently removed and cannot be restored. A new account created with the same mobile number will have no link to the previous account's data.

Uploaded Documents: Identity proof and address proof documents are retained only as long as necessary for league verification purposes. They are not shared publicly and are accessible only to the relevant league organisers.

Security Measures: We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures, including:

• OTP-based authentication (no passwords stored)
• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
• Secure cloud storage for uploaded files
• Google reCAPTCHA verification to prevent automated abuse
• Access controls limiting who can view sensitive data

However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Access and Correction: You can view and update your personal information at any time through your User Profile or Player Profile in the app.

Player Profile Visibility: You can control who sees your player profile by setting your Player Listing Visibility to "Everyone", "Joined" (only the leagues you have joined), or "None" (hidden). This can be changed at any time.

Notifications: You can manage push notifications through your device's system settings.

Account Deletion: You have the right to request deletion of your account and associated personal data. Submit a deletion request through the app (Profile → Delete Account).

Additional Rights: Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights including the right to access a copy of your data, restrict its processing, withdraw consent, object to its use, or opt out of marketing communications. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@gaim.zone or through the in-app Contact Us screen.

Gaim.zone is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete such information.

Some leagues may set their own minimum age requirements for participation. It is the responsibility of league organisers to enforce their own age restrictions.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of Gaim.zone after updates indicates your acceptance of the new terms.
